Spray Dryer System
Hygienic and Efficient
Spray dryers are often used for drying and cooling of powder. APEQ Process designs spray dryers based on SPX FLOW's leading sub-brand, Anhydro.
Our spray dryers are used in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries to produce dust-free, agglomerated, dispersible and free-flowing powders. APEQ Process designs spray dryers based on the following lines:
Fluid Bed Dryers*
Fluid Beds can be used for processing most types of powdered products. The use of a Fluid Bed enables adjustment of process parameters in order to achieve a superior overall drying economy and powder quality. The Fluid Beds feature excellent heat transfer properties, gentle and efficient mixing and improved control over particle size distribution.
* GMP and 3A compliant versions available
Spray Bed Dryers
Spray Bed dryers are used in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries to produce dust-free, agglomerated, dispersible and free-flowing powders. They feature high thermal efficiency, improved control over particle size distribution, minimum of fines, straightforward CIP, long service life, high reliability and availability.
* Designs available:
Open cycle systems applying atmospheric drying air
Closed cycle systems

Spray Dryers
Spray dryers can be used for a wide range of applications. The spray drying process is a continuous operation in which almost any pump-able liquid can be converted into a free flowing powder. Featuring control over moist, particle structure to ensure uniform quality, excellent performance/cost ratio, versatility in wide range of application, long service life and end-to-end traceability.
* Designs available:
Traditional open-cycle systems (single or multi-stage)
Closed circuit systems applying inert gas, Low-ox or super-heated
More than 20 chamber designs including conical-bottom, flat bottom, tall, uniflow or high body
Heat recovery systems minimizing energy consumption
